I scan through my Twitter feed several times a day. I usually go right to my lists and see what my favorite and most influential Twitter friends are sharing. I’ve started collecting some of these Tweets and thought I would share my Twitter take aways of the week.
We are in the midst of a big recruiting campaign to kick off 2014. One of my predictions for the upcoming year is that we will see more people get their real estate license or reactivate their license if they have been inactive the last few years. I loved this infographic on the cost of being a real estate agent.
I was happy to learn that you can now run contests on Facebook. We’ll be playing with this on our company site. The “like” to enter option is great.
If you haven’t heard the term “visual content” chances are you will start hearing it a lot moving forward. Marketers are giving the notion of visual content a lot of focus as they work on 2014 campaigns and strategies. I thought this article was really interesting. I want to turn a standard listing feature sheet into an infographic. I think it would make better visual content that way. It’s on my to-do list.
One of my big goals for 2014 is to run the LA Marathon in March and raise $5000 for cancer research for Team In Training. I got an email from Sidecar announcing their #MakeMyHoliday campaign. It asks you to Tweet them a holiday wish and they would make it happen. So I asked for a donation to my run. I have to admit I didn’t really think they would… but they did. An amazing marketing campaign, a great company and a wonderful gesture from Sidecar.
In other running news, I originally shared this Tweet and then had to favorite it because it was go good. 16 years younger, 16 years younger may become my new running mantra.
Some people just constantly share great content on Twitter and @theseanmoffett is one of them. This one resonated with me given some current challenges I’m working through.
